I think that on this site at least, folk are quite honest about what they feel.
We must all be constrained a little by the need to be polite and unoffensive.
Sometimes not telling the whole truth is an act of love.
For example, you may be ugly, would it help you if I told you the truth and just came out an said "Al, heck you are ugly!!" or is it better to say, "Al, you have a generous spirit"
However, I hate political correctness, but that is not the same as politeness and gentleness.
The Bible teaches us to "speak the truth in love".
That doesn't involve a compromise of personal integrity, rather, a real demonstration of inner strength.
I have a way to go yet!!
Most here agree that men who wear womens clothing need counselling.
Wearing clearly defined male garments such as a kilt needs no explanation or apology.
So I would suggest we all speak the truth, but "tame the tongue" which is what all do here anyway, so far as i can see.
