If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...
For myself (taking advertiser hat off here for a minute and putting on 'general products consumer' hat), I don't understand why after there are so many red flags with a company (not just this one, but MANY highland wear companies), and people recognize the flags, they continue to 'try them to see if it's that bad' to save a few dollars. In the end, the people often get burned... there are countless threads up here detailing poor experiences.
Isn't it worth the piece of mind and knowing that the product you'll receive is quality to go with a reputable firm?

If you see several images on their site which are blatantly... umm... "re-used", why do you think that they'd pay for a particular image of a band, without talking to the band itself (and if that's the case, why not a BIG band or a super high quality photo)?

Yes, Ted, your corduroy jacket is now zebra-striped with mango leaves stuffed in the pockets.

When given a choice, most people will choose.

See! (Guess it could be worse...)
Actually, I almost bought zebra corduroy a while back to make something a little like a belted plaid with cheat pleats. The stripes were cut into the fabric like corduroy, and it would have tiger lining for the inside with red edge binding.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I have no desire to rock the boat, but how is a business supposed to become reputable if no one buys from them. No seller ever started business with a thousand satisfied customers on the first day. Every seller started off with that one first customer.
And just because they advertise here is no guarantee of a good product or good customer service. As we used to say in the RAF "No names, No packdrill", but we say here "search" is your friend.
Yes they are very free with the use of other people's graphics, but do we know what their products or customer service is like? I think the answer is no, we do not. And until such time as someone buys from them and reports back, we will not know.
We do, here at XMTS, tend to be very negative about Pakistan and it's products and personally I believe often unjustly.

Chas

I must respectfully disagree here.
If a company isn't honest enough to use photographs of their own product- ie, they're STEALING other's images, how can we expect them to have any better business practices regarding their customers?
Pictures are nearly FREE to take in this digital day-and-age. There is, quite literally, NO excuse to steal images and pass them off as your product.

If honesty becomes the overriding criteria, then we will be saying good bye to one advertiser.
