Where Do You Wear Your Kilt?

In Scotland wherever and whenever the mood takes me. Outwith Scotland, then it has to be a VERY special occasion.

As a 'uniform' for Scottish Country and Highland Dancing for 46 years from the age of 14 and, since then, every day for the past 15 years, 3 months and 28 days (Oh, except when laid up in hospital!).

Such as when you were 18 or so, when in relation to girls it gave you a definite advantage over your mates!

Any place and any time I feel like wearing it. But, I don't wear mine all the time.

Wear to church, to a formal event or a night out, all the time when I visit Scotland. I would be less keen to wear one next time I climb a munro, such as Ben Vorlich in mid October.

All the time with one exception. When the Caithness wind doth blow horizontal rain.

Around the house, shopping in town, Weekend we nearly always have a family dinner at my daughter's so I dress up a bit with shirt, tie, waistcoat etc. I also wear my tweed jacket and tie with or without waistcoat depending on weather when shopping as it usually includes lunch at our favorite cafe.
