My first Kilt

Glad to see the kilt fits well, ktaylo. To those who asked, yes, this kilt does have that much purple. It's very "Pastel-y". It makes a GREAT Easter kilt (appropriate for this weekend).

One SMALL thought if I may. When your budget allows, consider a Kilt Belt and buckle (2.25" belt and buckle). It's more 'substantial' than a 1.5" jeans belt and just helps to finish the look.

Very nice KTaylo Just came across this post and would like to thank you for posting. This is the first time that I have seen a kilt made up in my tartam (Taylor) which i hope to get made up soon.
Definitely Lochcarron cloth as HOE is much bolder colours. Does anyone have a House of Edgar kilt in Taylor Ancient as I believe that only they and Lochcarron weave this tartan.
