    Wannabies! hahaha, I like it!...

Funny, that's what we thought when the strip first appeared. I don't think it's really a wannabee situation though, I just think it's a marketing ploy to sell more replica strips at £50 a shot and attract custom from all the people who've been buying unofficial black England / Guinness supporters shirts from Cotton Traders for £25 less for the last couple of years.

I watched the Samoa v Namibia game and it looks as though wales have got another tough match to come. Those samoans can certainly tackle.
Congrats to the beardos of Canada. Great performance against Tonga.
I hope Martin Johnson hasnt unpacked yet.

England's kit is ridiculous. It didn't stand up to even 10 minutes of play against Argentina before the jerseys started to fall apart and the numbers coming off in chunks. So much for Nike making a quality product...

The S. Africa Wales game was AMAZING though... And Canada Tonga was a nailbiter. I loved the announcers' comments on Adam Kleeberger's EPIC beard. One announcer said that he was only 27 years old, and the other said "I think the beard's a bit older than that!"

    GO CANADA!!!

(Out of respect for our boys, I ain't shaving either!)

And it should be entertaining to watch the All Blacks EDUCATE Japan tomorrow... hehehe

Wow! I'm speechless! That was a drubbing almost as bad as Japan's 1995 RWC test against NZ where they got punished 145 - 17.

They truly did get OBLITERATED... http://www.cbc.ca/sports/story/2011/...ewzealand.html

I was a #8 for my 4 years at Georgia State University. Tried out for the All Whites in Atlanta, but couldn't cut it. Next to the kilt, Rugby takes a close second! I actually lived in Namibia for a spell (I was in Africa for 6 years) and used to see the National team working out near where I lived as they prepared for this test, or that.

They obvously haven't seen the beard of the frenchman Sebastien Chabal, then! (but then again, he isn't selected for the French team this time around).

France beat Canada but it seems to me that there's a bit of favouritisme going on. It's strange that the so called "big" teams have more days between matches than the so called "small" teams! Maybe if Canada had a few more days rest, they could have won.

Guess I am ashamed of my fellow countrymen, many of whom descended from Scots settlers.

    Re: 2011 Rugby World Cup!

These New Zealanders seem to be confusing the bagpipes with the vuvuzela!
The monotonous buzz of the vuvuzela drove us mad during the Soccer World Cup last year.
And one piper I know actually made an instrument he called the duduzela, incorporating vuvuzela drones in the pipes.
There could be a case to be made for monitoring the sounds produced by the crowd (and stopping drunken pipers), but not to have pipes at a Scotland game is ludicrous!
    Regards,
    Mike
