Re: Webbing, Strapping, Loops, and D-Rings
My tool belt/pouch, which I have worn while gardening in the canvas kilt, has D-rings and things like that, and that is kind of what is leading me to think about it. It has back-support padding and other attachments that require the belt to be much longer than I need. I've worn the webbing part, which has a two-prong roller buckle on leather ends, but the extra length wraps half way around my back without all the padding.
Meanwhile, I recall the hardware stores sometimes having wide belts made only from the webbing and no tool pouch etc. If I get some nylon strapping, I could put D-rings, or other connecters, on loops that slide on the belt, or even have snaps to close the loop. That would make it all adaptable to what I need.
Just my thoughts.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
