Fantastic and well done Xman a superb kilt. I think that for me I prefer the Ancient as I love the combination of heather purple and green. My avatar shows a design that I did on the scotweb tartan designer which is predominantly purple and green. So I guess thats why I like it so much.
Again thank you so much for your responses.
    Kind regards

Absolutely smashing Eck, great colour, cut and style, and yes. I am very envious.

Dirty bird! Slater's website is down for "alterations." Maybe back up in a day or two. (Patience is a virtue, patience is a virtue, patience is...)

Very classy, classic. Stunning yet understated.

I especially like the waistcoat, cut straight at the bottom and with those lovely lapels.

One doesn't often see that level of quality nowadays!

There was a thread a while back called summat like "A Peacock amongst the Penguins" which came to mind. Truly, if you arrived at an event full of gents dressed in black Prince Charlies and black Argylls, you would stand out as being in a class all by yourself.

Lovely! The quality and attention to detail reminds me of my Kinloch-Anderson day jackets!
