Ironically, I couldn't stand anything Lewis prior to this class! Actually, my dislike for Narnia is what drove me to this class. I figured I should give his other works a fair shake, little did I know!
He is a great read, he doesn't stick to the mainstream rhetoric that floats around throughout all time; nor does he get so abstract as to become a bore.
