Possibly, or the kilt may be the right length, but he is wearing it too low on his torso. Convention has the proper length as high as a little above the knee to no longer than mid knee.

Looking very good and nice subtle outfit

As to kilt length, I prefer slightly longer than shorter. I find too short looks like a school boy

edit: that was a general comment about kilt length and not aimed at your kilt

To clear a few things up. First the unnamed lady is my girlfriend Bethany. As to my kilt length it is just a little above the middle of my knee.

Right smart outfit, and lovely accompaniment as well. You wear them both quite well.

    Re: Kilted Wedding Guest.

First, I want to tell the OP- you look great! I have been the only kilted guest at a few weddings (one where I was not only the only kilted guy, but t I was the only attendee who's ancestors were not African!) and I have always been a big hit at best, and a non-issue at worst.

Second- technically, yes. However, if you wear your kilt full time, as I do, then there are matters of practicality. Bare knees can get a little cold in the dead of a Rocky Mountain winter. So you don't like my kilt at the bottom of my knee caps? Well I don't like frostbite! I win.

I agree with the comment "Looking good pabackwoodsman!"

When I first saw the pictures, I thought I recognized the barn, but when I saw you were from PA, I knew it couldn't be the one I was thinking of since it is in MI.

Nice outfit, Backwoodsman. And a great-looking lady. Marry that girl!

Looking sharp. Is that kilt from Rocky's run of PA tartan?
