Concerned for Bravehearts
I think Kiltmen.com is a great site but I'm concerned it's gonna die a natural death unless it's fixed so people can post, or at least some word from WDP on the site as to when it's restructing is due.
I find it a site which seems to be left in auto mode all the time, little or no imput from the nameless
WDP, which is sad.
I know we all agree that it's a valuable resource that we would be poorer without, if it were not for XMarks, many of us would have no where to go.
No disrespect to this site, I just have no where else to mention this concern.
Does anyone know how to reach with WDP and find out what's happening?

I agree with you Graham. I know that without that site, it would have taken me much longer to get here first of all, and I might not be quite as interested in kilts.
It was just all the little tech glitches that made me switch over here

Graham,
I agree with you. By the way, WDP is Bill Parry, who is a lawyer. I believe that he spends quite a bit of time away from home on business, so he doesn't look in on the forum that often to check that it is working OK. There is an E-Mail address given on the home page of the site. It is: Brvhearts@aol.com

I have to say, this is the best kilt site yet. well done Hank. Certainly, it's more upbeat than kiltmen.com. I'm not knocking WDP's efforts here. He's put a lot of work into the background info of his site and it certainly helped me to get a grip of things. It just doesn't seem to go anywhere these days.
Xmarks' is vibrant and the enthusiasm is infectious. I feel very comfortable when logged on here. I know that every one shares the same philosophy. I know there will be no nasty surprises.
As long as the standard remains, I'll not be going anywhere else.

Al and Elijah, I agree, this place is both comfortable and vibrant. It's a long time since Bravehearts worked without frustration. Even when it was revamped, all the previous posts disappeared into cyberspace.
It would just be a shame for it to go, no doubt tho', this is the best site.

I'll second that! Al has summed up exactly how I feel
about this site. I don't wish any ill will to the
other sites. I just feel this site fits me well. I really like the
respect that is given by the each member as well as the good hearted
humor. That is often a tough act to manage.

I like X-Marks best as well. It is populated by ladies and gentlemen of grace and good humor. A very compatable group, even in disagreement.

WDP has tried to do a "test" post this morning due to the lack of posts on that forum. I tried to reply and let him know that we were still having difficulty, but it would not let me post.
I personnaly like this forum quite a bit, but I really enjoy all the info at kiltmen.com , it sure helped me out when I decided to get a kilt and wear it out.
Even if the forum fails to work, I hope the site stays up.

they could merge this site with kiltmen, or make this the official forum for kiltmen.com
