    Highland cuarrans

Any one know where to get patterns or instruction for cuarrans or even something similar to it?

Something simple and easy, ya know?

I was going to post our Appin pattern but I see Downunder Kilt beat me to it. Its the best pattern I know of.

Looks like a good start, the print is a little rough but I think it will be something I can work with.

Not sure if I can find hide with hair left on it, what would be a good substitute? Cowhide, buckskin, etc?

Check with our member "Woodsheal" here. I believe he posted some info on a source a while back, or perhaps a pattern? Don't remember, but he can likely steer you in the right direction.

    Best of luck!

...they're a bit expensive for a simple moccasin.
