Meadow Highland Games & Celtic Festival

So who is planning to go to the Meadow Highland Games & Celtic Festival the end of the month, 29 & 30th? Great line up of entertainers; Barleyjuice & Albannoch.

Glad to host a Meet Up of the Rabble both days just need to determine a good time. Perhaps we should plan a wee whisky tasting before the meet up?
I have Endradour Caledonia and a fine blend Loch Fynnes that just arrived today from the Whisky Shop in Inveraray, and a tasty Spring Bank. I'm sure Sir William can bring a bottle. Eh, Bill? I bet Elliottrohan68 even has a bottle of good Irish whiskey he can spare a little taste from.

Annette and I will be there for both days. Finnegan, our Cairn Terrier, will accompany us on the second day. I haven't ordered our tickets yet because I am waiting for our free ticket to come before I order the rest of them.The programs have a form to fill out and enter for a free ticket to the next years festival. There must not be many filling the form out because Annette has won a free ticket for the last three straight years.

I will be at the Meadows representing the infamous Border riding family, the Elliots and I will bring a bottle of Glenkinchie. Of the two available Lowland single malts, this is made closest to Elliot territory.

Albannach's tour schedule on their site just shows the 30th.

Ah, but the Schedule on the Meadow Highland Games website says they play both days at 3:30 PM

Let's say then the Meet Up will be at 3:00 each day at the MacCallum Malcolm tent. Come by at 2:30 if you want to do a wee bit of Whisky tasting. But then, come by anytime for some hospitality.
