It was awe-inspiring, and both Dixiecat and I were impressed.
"Yes, indeed! Ben does a heck of a job. "
Thank you very much both of you. We would not dare insult our friends the Gordons by refusing their offer of a libation. We also could not insult the Ross and Kennedy clans after their offer either. And we are delighted to have met Dixiecat and that the Atholl Highlander's are her new favorite band.

It was our first SMHG . What a blast and superb southern hospitality! I especially enjoyed meeting so many Xmarkers @ the Celtic Tavern friday evening and @ the Lamont tent photo-op saturday. Ben, there was no way to tell that was your debut as the major!! Well done, young man
Jim...it was great meeting you...the Georgia host supreme and it was good to see Turpin again, #1 Boss HOG !
My only regret was a plan change that precluded our being there sunday.
Hope to see ya'll next year

By gee, by gum there has been a lot of talk about some games and meet ups, but we are very light on the photograpic proof. Leaves some of us overseas folks wondering if these huge games are nothing but a myth. Must have been more cameras there than at the nikon factory. So how about it?

Yes, you certainly sounded good under that scotch buzz I had going on after the scotch tasting and lessons I received at the House of Gordon after the photo op. ;) Seriously, the band sounded even better on Sunday and I was delighted to find that the music we use to dance the Scottish Lilt is The Atholl Highlanders! Quite a memory I'll have the next time I dance it.
Oh, and good news (to me anyway!), I'll be back in the Atlanta area sometime during the week of October 31st. Any band functions I can 'groupie' at?
