Thank you all for the compliments. The banner is heavy paper that has been laminated. I used this for the shield as well. My thinking was that it would hold up well to abuse.

LOL! what can I say? I like doing craft projects.
I just finished a reproduction jacobite sporran for one of our forum members and I have mailed off payment for a highland cow hide. So that will probably be the next one on my list.
I only asked what it was made of because I recently read about Joseph McMillan's table banner on the Heraldry Society of Scotland forum (I believe Joseph is also a member here), where he mentioned that he printed his out onto a printable cotton.
From a couple of feet away, though, I doubt that anyone could tell the difference.

I am on the American Heraldry Society forum as well. I saw Joseph's banner on there. I think I am going to get some of that printable fabric and make a few for myself.
