New hose preview
I was photographing a new style of hose we will soon be offering on the STM gift shop page. Some of you who were at Stone Mountain saw these for sale at our tent there. They are the Sandringham hose by the House of Cheviot.
They are available in four colors: goldcrest, aubergine, heathland marl, and rustic marl.
I put on a pair of the goldcrest today to snap some photos. I put on my New House Highland kilt because I thought that tartan would look nice with the goldcrest. And I didn't even think about what all else I was wearing, because the pictures I needed were just from the knee down. So I just kept on whatever I was wearing with the jeans I had on previous.
As it turns out, the shirt and sweater vest I was wearing created a wonderful look with the kilt and hose!
So, in advance of introducing the hose on our site, I thought I'd give you all a sneak preview, a "behind the scenes" look, as it were, from today's photo shoot.
Here's the actual photo that will eventually appear on our giftshop web site.

Dang, now my wallet's talking to me again.
Those are VERY nice, and that particular ensemble looks great!

I know the feeling. Unfortunately, my wife talks louder than my wallet.

Matt: You realize that you are enabling us hose addicts, don't you? I just bought four pair including a patterned top from the STM. Now, I've got another emotional, psychological struggle with compulsive, greedy desire.
I just realized why you called your new hose site "comfy". You're going to sell enough hose to guarantee yourself a comfy retirement.
I'm also wondering what aubergine and marl look like.

Re: New hose preview
Matt - you could have buffed the scratches and scrapes out of the shoes before the photo!

Re: New hose preview
For those wondering what the other colors look like, I'm wore a pair of the Heathland Marl color at the Stone Mountain Highland Games last weekend. Here's a pic:
(And before BEEDEE says anything, my shoes were black and polished when I arrived on the field that morning. That's what the infamous "Stone Mountain dust" will do to you!)
The other colors can be seen here:
