What gets your knickers in a bunch?

RUDENESS! Cant....stand....rudeness!

I was standing in line at the local Potbelly on my lunch break and this family of three was walking into the store with me. The daughter got in line, the mom and dad lingered around and then eventually got in line. Because they lingered, I ended up going in line in front of them. As we were moving up in line, the mother cuts me off and squeezes her and her husband in front of me. I looked at her and said "umm excuse me" and she goes "oh, we're all together." and I said "ok..." and she goes "well did you order yet?" I said "No I havent" and she didnt move. Then, her husband stepped on my foot, looked at me, and didnt apologize.

UUUUGH It would have been a wonderful moment to have gotten my sandwich so I could wack both of them in the back of the head with it.

what gets you guys ticked off? or just plain annoyed.

I even bought the stinkiest sandwich of all... a tuna one. It would have been a bad day for them to get sandwich-wacked.

Oh and intellectual gollums!

I've been fortunate to have had many fascinating experiences and learnt things from many people of many cultures, so these idiots who hoard knowledge as some precious thing to hide away and not share to keep old crafts alive, or pass on to the young to inspire them, REALLY get my goat!

Think you may get just a few rants on this thread...

You mean people who dont share their experiences? Or people who share them and think they are the end-all-be-all and ultimate truth?

I am not talking about relaxing for a day. What I mean are those that avoid work and complain about having to do the minimum requirements of a job.

If you don't know what you want, you are not allowed to use the drive-thru. If you have more than two special instructions for your order, you are not allowed to use the drive-thru. If you are ordering for more than three other people and need these orders to all be rung up separately, you are not allowed to use the drive-thru.

I also have a problem with people using the word "retarded" or "retard" (or short bus jokes) as an insult or in a casual way. I have seen the pain hearing those words cause reflected in the eyes of my daughter, and since she can't speak, I have to speak up for her.

HERE HERE! that and "thats so gay" Just makes me cringe thinking about using both of those words that way. Have some class, people.

I also cant stand it when people are holding the posters from my poster store that I work at in their hands and they keep throwing them up in the air and dropping them when they cant catch them. You dent it, you buy it. (believe it or not, most of the people that do this are college guys)
