When Allah (saw) says not to sell the Qur'an, He didnt mean the bound copies. He meant reciting it or teaching it for a price. If you recite the Qur'an outloud and make people pay to hear you, that is haraam (forbidden). Selling the bound copies of the Qur'an is not haraam.
And I can guarantee none of my Imams carry the Gaelic Qur'an. lol. There are probably only like 3 copies in the world considering the demand from Gaelic speaking Muslims is probably slim to none Hell, im the only Irish/Scot-American Muslim that I even know!
actually thats a lie. I know one more.

I think he meant whether it was Islamically allowed or not.
Nah Father Bill, it's totally fair game, Islamically. Just don't recite it and make people pay to hear you.

Given that Chapters/Indigo book store chain is owned and operated by 2 well known Jewish Canadians, I'm sure the Islamic establishment in Canada would be vocal if any rules were being broken.
