Something tells me many well lubricated patrons have "accidentally" dropped a fork trying to answer that question.

Re: Fate
They're showing a little too much knee. Also, don't they know waistcoats should have 5 buttons?
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I believe you are correct there. Someone with an idea for a Celtic-themed Hooters and now it's a franchise. I forget where I read that; must be somewhere on their web site. So your version of the named works quite well, especially when you look at the picture of the servers.

Different strokes for different folks and all, I find their beer selection lackluster, their food inauthentic, applebees throwback crap, and the whole "sportsbar" atmosphere sucks in general. The ladies are the only reason to go, but even that's ruined when they start talking...

Well I can't speak for the beer; they had Jack and Coke on special so that's what I was drinking. The food was decent only when compared to some of the other bars in the area. They definitely don't try too hard to be Scottish or anything. I wasn't there for the food though.
Not a bad place but not one I'd go back to either.

They opened one here in San Antonio a while back. I went there at lunch with a coworker, and my impression is pretty much the same as yours. It felt like a sports bar with the kind of food you'd find at Applebee's. I tried their fish & chips, which was horrid. And they didn't even have malt vinegar to serve with it.
The place was full of guys ogling the waitstaff, getting half-drunk at lunchtime and trying to hit on the girls. It was just pathetic. And as for the decoration, they seemed to have more Irish stuff on the walls than Scottish stuff. I'm not really sure what I was expecting this place to be, but I left a bit disappointed. I won't be back.
