I kind of think that a name change might attract more people, but you'd have to find a better name. The current name for this forum is already rather cool, and it would be a challenge to find a name that sounds just as cool. I certainly can't think of any better names.

Leave it alone, Hank. The interesting name is one of the things that sucked me in here in the first place!

It's true the name could ideally do with reflecting the fact that the board is about kilts rather than scots, however, we are all used to it now, and as one who dislikes change, i say leave it as is.

    Re: A New Name Perhaps?

Hank, please leave it alone. No need to change it. Besides X Marks the Scot has a catchy ring to it... ;-)

I like it just fine as is. If people want to know about kilts they'll end up checking out all things scottish anyway, and when they've check out this site they'll soon discover for themselves that it's the best one going.

I agree with most everyone else. I think even though, it might keep some people from joining, on balance the name does really reflect that it's kilt only.
