    Mick, we stopped doing the summer/winter weight uniforms some time ago. I have some of the older stuff, been able to keep it as long as it's serviceable....sorry to date you..hahah

    I still have two of the old, all wool. winter weight class As in a cedar chest. Wish I had somewhere to park 'em.

    We still wore tropical wool khakis for summer when I was first in, but the cotton khakis were no longer issued. (Wear 'em if you got 'em.) Once they stopped wearing trops in the summer, all I had for a while was the heavier wool trousers, and they were very warm in the summer!

    Sorry to hijack the thread for a stoll down Memory Lane no one cares about.
