Re: New Panda Tartan
I am always in two minds about these types of tartan. What if the pandas don't manage to breed? No amount of souvenirs on sale will make it happen. There have been numerous failures round the world before. And they do have other animals in Edinburgh Zoo.
This kind of thing always strikes me as being a bit tacky.
Anyway, her are another couple of links:

Re: New Panda Tartan
I think it would look much better with a panda face on the apron.

Re: New Panda Tartan
Yeah, I got the announcement yesterday too. Doesn't rock my boat. I would have liked a bigger bolder black and white tartan myself, but this is why I don't even attempt to design any.
Just makes me think the gift shop in the zoo will have stuffed pandas with kilts on....

Ok, now you've done it. My wife is a panda fanatic. Watched several here is the States grew up on web camera.
So, how do I get my hands on something with the tartan? Don't see a store, just a ticket seller.

I don't know, they could put the female panda in a Billie Skirt; that always seems to get me going

I'd shoot them (sorry) an e-mail and ask direct:
