Here are a few photos of the new sporran - he's a wee bit 'bushy' as I have yet to give him a bit of a proper 'grooming.' He is placed upon on a sash of my wife's tartan, Clann Donnachie, in ancient colours - to her liking. I have formed a rather absurd habit of officially 'naming' my full-mask sporrans, yes, you heard correctly, 'naming' my full-mask sporrans! There's Blairgowrie the badger, Murdoch the mink, and now Portree the pine marten...hahaha! It's all in good fun - even my lovely wife agrees with that.

Next up from Kate Macpherson...red fox with front paws!

David Lumsden of Cushnie, Baron of Cushnie-Lumsden, wearing a full-mask, red fox sporran with front feet (paws), made by Kate Macpherson (she informed me of Cushnie being one of her patrons a while back). I like how his rather sharp Argyll style day jacket doesn't look too big, as one often sees in the U.S. - it fits him perfectly. A very smart looking gentleman I must say. Sandy, there are those 'flesh' (oatmeal, fawn, and stone) coloured hose we discussed back in May, remember?

Can anyone tell me which tartans Cushnie is wearing in the above photos? I am not interested in having a kilt done up in one of those tartans, as I only wear my clan tartan, but nonetheless, I am indeed interested in knowing more about them. They are both gorgeous, especially the green based tartan!

A most excellent sporran! i too would probably name a full mask sporran if i even get one, i already name my cars and guns, why not sporrans!
