I know that there are quite a few kilt shops where they are not worn by staff and where reliance is placed upon the mannequins in the shop window.
But they will never show how they move. I also am amazed that where you have a shop promoting and selling a quality garment that offers a different perspective on male wear that you can find in so many other places that what you can find in so many other places is that which is modeled.
Whether or not this has an effect upon sales is surely secondary.
