    To be honest I wouldn't like the scenario you set out, but I would be equally unhappy if Scots (who were wearing kilts badly or otherwise) were behaving in a similar manner. I sometimes wonder if Scots who are somewhat traditional about the kilt (like myself) have a bit of a blind spot towards some of the crassness (mooning etc.) around the kilt that some members of the 'Tartan Army' have been reputed to engage in abroad.

    I guess I tend to treat such crass behaviour the same no matter what the perpetrator is wearing - disassociate myself from it - it doesn't reflect on me simply because I may be wearing similar garb. Ultimately I am only responsible for my own behaviour.
