Custom Kilt Pins
I've never found a kilt pin that I really, really like. Has anyone ever had a kilt pin cusom made, or is anyone aware of someone who make custom kilt pins?

Chris, check out the craft fairs and art shows. You might find someone that makes jewelry as a hobby or artistically. That might be your best bet. The artsy-craftsy folks love taking on challenges and you just might find a good supplier there.

Chris, I designed one a while back that I think might be right up your alley. I mocked it up wireframe and rendered it in the computer. There are jewellers around that do custom work... don't know how expensive it would be. If you pm, I'll e-mail a jpeg to you.

Chris, I am a jeweler in the U.S. If you get the design figured out I would be happy to give you an idea of what the cost should be.

Hi Belegnole, welcome to the site, glad you can be here.
Some of the best designs I've seen are here
http://www.lindaclifford.com/KiltPins.html
But the prices are very high, I'd be happy with something like these but made out of pewter.

When I was considering kilt pins a few years ago,I decided that wanted something different. I thought that I would have my initials made into a badge of gold & silver wire, or embroidered - about 1.5 inches in diameter, and stitched onto the kilt where a pin would usually go. These can be made up at sensible cost from a badge-maker.
