What I want is a sword and shield pin like the one on my website: www.geocities.com/ciltman/index
I would like to do the sword in silver or pewter and the shield I would like painted in the colours as it appears on the website.
What do you think?

Nice design on the welsh kilt page. But I don't think a claymore goes with evening wear. Good pics.
And you may ask yourself, Well how did I get here?

That sword is actually a picture of "Excalibur".

Well, going out for an evening would be safer carrying a claymore

heck Bubba, I'm really touched i revisited the site and looked at those pins, and I have to confess that I have a sudden urge to order one, they are great!! I like the rampant lion and the thistle one too.
Want to know something really funny?
On our 25 acre property, thistles have always been a real problem, they were introduced to Australia, and as with many introduced flora and fauna, they become a pest.
However, out of a totally misguided love of Scotland, i cannot bring myself to wipe them out.
Is that sick or what? I'm tellin' you, i got it bad

They do have some nice looking pins and I plan on ordering a couple of the Celtic pins myself, as well as another Clan pin. I got the MacNeil from them and it's pretty nice. I also got a Clan crest cap badge I put on my beret. I'm trying to figure out how I can get a Hamilton 8 yard next. Going to try for the 16 oz. Now, how to finagle it and not have the wife murder me
Thistles have a kind of rugged untamed beaury all their own. True, transplant most anything into a place they aren't native and there is a huge risk of them becoming a problem. Maybe you could designate a thistle patch and wipe out the rest? Your own little Scottish garden so to speak

Victoria Emblems at Victoria Terrace, Edinburgh, right next to the castle just off the Royal Mile, will make you a gold/silver wire or embroidered badge.
I had some badges made up of the crest from my Coat of Arms, and they were about £30.00 each. They also made me two ties with the same design for £35.00 each.
