Thank you everyone for your kind words,it took some time and thought to work it out. I also look forward to getting the cloth, but it's going to be a few months at least before I see anything.

Sorry I don't really understand your question, it's my own tartan, one which I designed myself,and will be getting it woven as soon as I can

Great News , the finished cloth arrived this morning, and am very pleased with the final colours and the feel of the dalgleish cloth is excellent, now I have to start on turning it into a kilt!

Thank you, designing the tartan is the key thing, although there are only a few weavers who will undertake special runs, getting the design right is the most important thing. If you are not used to tartan it would be a good idea to canvas opinon from kiltmakers as not every design works well when turned into a kilt.Yes it's not cheap, but you are getting something very special for yourself.
I'm very happy to talk about designing or commissioning a tartan further, but I'm sure there are other kiltmakers who would be happy to help as well.
