Re: Welsh Rugby Scarf Travel Log in Pictures

    Disclaimer
Due to pre-booked commitments and circumstances beyond the control of the writer, he will not be kilted during the sojourn of the Scarf during its stay in East Anglia.

We hope this does not spoil your viewing pleasure.

So - Friday morning, bright and early the post arrives.

Wasting no time, I used a special tool called a 'letter opener' and opened the package.

    And there we had -

    The SCARF had arrived!

I knew that time was of the essence and wanted to keep the SCARF moving as soon as possible.

Straight away, to show everyone where it is -

I then snuck across the border into Suffolk -

Then off to the Harling Drove Road. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drovers%27_road
This is a place where two ancient transport networks come together and overlap each other. For a while the Peddars Way and the Harling Drove Road run together. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peddars_Way

Just a little bit more to come.

    Regards

    Chas

Where was I - oh, yes. On the Harling Drove Road -

A quick walk in the fog and then back home to re-pack and ship of to the next recipient.

    But before it goes -

There are those who talk about Fortuosity and Serendipity, those who speak of Ley Lines and cosmic forces over which we have no control. Powers so great that mere mortals are as nothing in comparison. Well we are kilt wearers, so I am sure we can all understand that. But what dark arts must have been at work for this to have happened -

The QUAICH and the SCARF in the same place, at the same time - touching!
Will this ever happen again in our lifetimes - who knows, who can say?

Got home and had to dash out again, but one last picture -

    Regards

    Chas

    The Twilight Zone returns.

Great photos Chas, and the odds of you being the keeper of the 2 round the world trekkers is indeed mysterious.

You must be feeling all tingly to be at the epicenter of such an unlikely kilt-related confluence. Cool pics--thank you for hosting both artifacts!
