Re: Welsh Rugby Scarf Travel Log in Pictures
Nice pics Chris. Certainly looks breezy. Probably explains why yours was one of the few cars in the car park. No-one else is mad enough...
Saying that, I was up in Banff for a few days last month. There were surfers up there too. Bonkers!!

Re: Welsh Rugby Scarf Travel Log in Pictures
This morning, the postman delivered two packages to Bicknell Grange (as well as the usual Monday selection of junk mail!), but "What could they contain?", I asked myself since there was no-one else to ask.

"There is only one way to find out," I replied, "and that is to open them." Common sense is all that it takes, I thought, shaking my head slowly. Well, imagine if you will my joy and delight at finding that one package contained the comforting Welsh Rugby Scarf, sent from the top end of Scotland by Chris, whilst the other (the larger of the two packages) contained The magnificent XMTS Quaich sent from considerably closer Norfolk by Chas.

The accompanying log books contain multitudes of fascinating reading for this evening, but 'previous arrangements' prevent further photographic excursions until tomorrow or Wednesday - St Andrew's Day - so watch this space. Time is short as I understand Derek requires to have the scarf back in his hands by this time next week.
Take care,
Ham.
[PS: I hope the two photos appear - I am having dreadful problems getting them into and out of my Photobucket albums!!]

Good to see the scarf and Quaich once again in safe hands. They must be getting comfortable traveling with each other. And to have both of them in the same building as the Kilt Kollection -- what a Koup!
Hamish, it's also good to see you looking well and up for this challenging hosting assignment. Lacking a winning lottery ticket at the moment, which prevents our travel to the UK, we are still waiting for you to make the trip to Palm Springs again!

Looking good Hamish. As Sydnie7 said, to have both the travelling ambassadors at the home of the Kilt Kollection at the same time is a tremendous coup. All the best to you Hamish

Its great to see you looking well again Hamish.
Brilliant timing that the scarf and the quaich should meet up again and arrive with you from opposite ends of the British Isles at the same time.
Looking forward to your St. Andrews Day pics.

To have the scarf and the quaich arrive at the same place at the same time as they did with Chas was incredible. To have them do it twice in unbelievable.
Ham, you have the luck. Or maybe it's not luck but the irresistible attraction of The Legend.
I hope you feel up to showing both your garden and the Kollection.
The quaich's box looks like it is overflowing with all the souvenirs it has collected in its travels. We may have to concider sending some ahead to the Quaich Museum before too long.
