Obviously the upper part of the uniform would have to be standard - white shirt, navy epaulettes with silver ID numbers, black tie, black fleece with chequered stripe across the chest and police badge.
But then what - black kilt with black hose/flashes and my Magnum boots? I'm thinking my utility belt would wreck the kilt. Would I wear a sporran? Flat cap or helmet?
Might give it a go sometime. Just for a lark, you understand.

Al. I took this in December 2001. When someone else saw it, they suggested that (with a shorter haircut and a uniform cap) I could be taken for an officer of the NYPD .............. in an ideal world!
