Regarding a re-order: At this point nothing is going to be done until the whole holiday season is WELL over and done with.
Ryan is correct, this colour run will most likely never be duplicated as 3 of the 4 colours were custom dyed for us, which gets quite expensive when you're not ordering 100+yds double width.
Regarding the sett being registered, it has not yet been. I'm waiting to wrap up my end of year finances to see what (if any) free funds exist for registry. I also kind of like the idea that it's "off the books". Secret tartan for a secret group - very fitting, I think.

To those who really understand what we're dealing with here, the idea of the public being sold this tartan without knowing it's power is too perfect.
I vote for keeping it off the grid, also.

I have to admit that I have been giggling maniacally to myself for the last ~25min now at the thought of this happening.

That would be due to the lack of pants and trousers. Another reason kilts win. Impossible to be caught with your pants down. ;)

Is "The R'lyeh Sett" the name that was settled on for this tartan? I am a little confused by the history of the thread here and at Kilted Cthulu Cultists.

As far as I know, there was no ultimate conclusion on this, merely discussion. Some of the possibilities included: Cthulhu, R'lyeh Sett, Miskatonic, Miskatonic U. (or Miskatonic Collegiate), and a few other variations...
Ultimately, it's Artificer's call what to call it, or even whether or not to solicit feedback from everyone, as he alone created the tartan.
...IF he chooses to register it, that is.
As for the history of this tartan, it was born directly out of this thread: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...-fhtagn-64014/ started on January 26, 1922err... I mean... 2011.
