Any tricks for Happy Laundering of non-wool kilts?
How did the pleat-sheet (plastic thingie) work out?
That's a GREAT idea.
Is poly-acrylic heat sensitive? I've got one on the way that will eventually need this, too.
I'm trying to get my head around this whole process, and preparing to do some kilt maintenance myself. If anybody has photos of Best Practice, I volunteer web space to post 'em.

Poly/viscose melts and gets a shiny look if over-pressed. A piece of cheesecloth on top prevents this to a large degree.

Hello Daneel, I've missed you on the board. How have you been? Still wearing kilts in the Emerald Isle?

Bear, I've found that a good cotton presscloth works better than cheesecloth, about the weight of a bed sheet.
