I prefer jackets with patch pockets and a double vent but as the price was right I'd go for it. I like the colors, too.

Personally...and this is just me, your mileage may vary....I find the jacket pattern to be hideous. But hey, who cares what I think? if YOU like it, that's what matters, and Chas is exactly right. If you botch the conversion, then all you're "out" is your time. You'll learn from the experience and the next one will be better.

I think it will convert nicely. It seems to have enough space between the pocket and the bottom to convert and not look odd. There should even be enough fabric to make cuffs and epauletts if you want to.
