Didn't Howie Nicholsby of TFCK make a white kilt for an all-white wedding outfit? In his galleries now, there is an off-white suit with a linen look.

He has a white linen kilt in his ready to wear stuff, not on his main site yet

Was an experimental kilt - with silver snaps - got it off their scratch and dent rack.

Also had a natural white vegan Workman's Utilikilt a few years ago. Again, hard to figure what to wear with it.



Did go well with skin - no shirt - in the summer.

Think if you bought one you'd find out what I did - the white kilt is difficult to look good with the rest of the turnout. Unless you're doing the winter camo or work in a medical field where all white is the rule.

I remember that UK had the White Workmans on clearance at the 2010 Maker City Faire, and were openly suggesting people dye them. Almost bought one, too, but ended up getting the tan mocker that they were getting rid of the batch via scratch 'n dent, because they didn't care for the workmanship of the place that made that batch. (This is when they were looking at outsourcing production)

Other than cost a white canvas or poly cotton would be my choice for beekeeping. It would be work wear and would very quickly look just as stained as my jacket. I would seriously wear one as I rarely wear veil or gloves with my bees.
