Well there's a thing! You have caught me with a newly decanted port-----Warres 1963------I will have to let it gently warm up a tad and allow it to "breathe" for perhaps 12 maybe 20 hours----it smells wonderful already, but I fear it may be past its best-----we shall see! Shame you can't get over here in time!

Just thought you might like to know. The port was superb. Even with my old and beaten up taste buds the wonderful flavours fought through. For those that may be interested, it will happily keep its quality for another 10 years or so, if kept well.
