Shibori

Shibori (絞り染め Shiborizome?) is a Japanese term for several methods of dyeing cloth with a pattern by binding, stitching, folding, twisting, compressing it, or capping. Some of these methods are known in the West as tie-dye.


You could dye some cloth yourself.

They've got over-aprons, they're got under-aprons. They've got pleats, they're tapered in the fell, they close with straps. Those are kilts, gang. But WOW. WOW

Just gotta say that to me... no.

Seriously, they all bring to mind 18th century street urchin rags to me. There is nothing pleasant or eye catching about any of those, for man, girl, nor beast. Rather horrendous.
