Re: Can you believe it!!!!
I checked at the market today (sorry, no camera with me). All they had were Irish and Danish butters in addition to the local ones. Alas, of the two imports, I find the Danish best for use with dark bread and preserves, while the Irish as better for use with scone-type baked goods.

Well we Norwegians are very protective of our dairy industry. We have heavy import tax on all foreign deary products. When the Norwegian dairy industry ran out of butter right before Christmas, the goverment lifted the import tax. For the time being we have only foreign butter in the stores.

Re: Can you believe it!!!!
Apparently we could be in for a rhubarb shortage here in the UK.
I can live with that one!

Ooh I see. I thought you meant that it wasn't as good cause it was Irish. I was gunna set my leprechauns on you for that. (and if course I wasn't really offended. Just teasing you around )
I can definitely respect having pride for your own dairy. I cant help but want to challenge California in a good old fashioned field battle since they claimed to be the new Dairy State. All of Wisconsin gasped at the same time

I couldn't! No rhubarb sauce? No strawberry-rhubarb pie? No cherry-rhubarb jelly? Shoot me! Shoot me now!

Unless there is an equal shortage of rhubarb in Western Pa I will keep the firearms well locked up.
