My wisdom teeth have yet to come in, but I have had 2 root canals with crowns. Does that count?

Re: Got my wisdom teeth removed this morning
Had mine out during my first year of college when I was 18. Didn't get the gas, had an IV that sent me off to la-la land. Woke up on my stomach about 45 minutes later with a mouth full of gauze and four less teeth. That was 36 years ago this month.
My oldest son just had his out two years ago during his first year of college. They gave him the gas. That kid was a barrel of laughs for the rest of the afternoon! Every time I said something to him, he would just laugh hysterically and uncontrollably. Kept falling out of the recliner in the living room.
I survived, he survived, and you, too will survive. Just be careful of hot liquids...don't want to be disolving those sutures. (The biggest pain is not being able to brush your teeth...assuming they still prohibit that. After about three days, you'd swear your mouth needs a haircut or a shave.) This too shall pass. Be well!

uuuugh yeah they said after the first 24 hours, im not allowed to brush. I kind of cheated and just brushed my tongue a little when I woke up at 4am. I had my teeth removed at 8am so I figured I'd waited long enough. I wasnt going to be able to fall asleep again if I didnt brush. I cant stand morning breath.

Hahahha I know that phrase all too well. I also know its double meaning!! My mom was living in Virginia (where I was born) for a year and picked up that phrase and never put it back down. She says "bless her/his heart" all the time and sometimes it can mean "what a dear" and sometimes it means "they are a huge idiot" hahaha.
Well this morning was not a fun morning. My medication wore off around 4am and I woke up with a bad ache in the extraction site. I got up to brush my teeth (I cant fall asleep again if I have that morning taste in my mouth. Grossest taste ever) and then I wanted to eat a little yogurt before taking the medication again. On my way downstairs to the fridge, I started getting really dizzy from lack of sugar in my system and I just remember opening up the fridge door, frantically trying to find juice, adn then my eyesite went black and I slowly lowered myself to the ground and just laid on the floor for awhile I put my feet up on the counter and let the blood come back but it wasnt fun at all. I finally got a little yogurt but it takes the medicine so bloody long to kick in so I was kept awake for almost an hour with the achey pain
