    Knitwear section updated

Well, the updating of the knitwear section of our site did not take near as long as I thought. Mostly because the actual content of the pages did not change that much, just the layout. So check it out.

I will point out the addition of one new product, though. It's our Celtic Knot Cap!

Available in a rainbow of colors!

Some other things in the works... my wife is working on a new cowl design and also hopes to add a range of bags and purses soon.

Is that my hat, Matt, or just one that looks exactly like it?

At any rate, I got one of those hats from Mrs. Newsome, and it's awesome. I have a picture, but I'll need to dig it up; in the mean time, you'll all have to take my word for it.

Oh, and the web site looks great! Love the dark background w/light text.

Those photos were taken right before the Stone Mountain Highland Games, so yes, that likely is the one you bought! lol...

Looks great Matt, and I like the hat! and the gloves... and the hose! I'll need a second job to finance my wish list :-) One thing at a time for now. So looking forward to my new kilt!

I really like the hats, Matt! Will definitely be ordering one as soon as I can decide on colors.

    Re: Knitwear section updated

I'm thinking of ordering a toboggan in black and navy blue. Judging by the pictures on the site, that looks like it would be good together but I have a question: is the "navy blue" yarn closer to what it appears online or closer to an actual navy, which is nearly black itself? If the latter, I'll pick a different combination.

    Re: Knitwear section updated

If you'll pardon the quick cell phone pic, here is a photo of the black and navy blue in question, plus a couple other options.

Black is on the bottom left, with the navy right above it. The navy is obviously distinguishable from the black to my eye (especially in better lighting), but it is still a dark blue, so there would be minimal contrast in the hat.

The light blue yarn is pictured top right, which was my wife's suggestion for a higher contrast choice. She also said to consider the charcoal as an alternative to the black, which is on the lower right.

In the center is an odd ball of a blue color she has which is slightly darker than the usual light blue, if you'd like that, it's another option.

We can also send yarn samples in the mail if you like.
