Knives
If I'm dressed (and not on my way through an airport security gate or on board an airliner), I usually have a sweet little Gerber folder tucked away somewhere. Often have a Leatherman Juice somewhere handy as well.
When kilted, I have a wonderful hand-carved sgian dhu in my sock. The black wooden knife was hand-made by a good friend up in Guelph, Ontario, of centuries-old bog oak from the UK (not sure exactly where). I wear it because it's beautiful and exotic and because I admire Kim's work greatly. The Gerber will be tucked into a waistband or somesuch, for function.
