    Good answers! However, not having Celtic ancestry does not protect you from being hooked. My wife's ancestry is 100% Italian, and she is now learning to play the bodhran.

    There's a guy whose ancestry is 100% Chinese who plays in our band.

    There are no ethnic requirements -- you just have to have your heart in it.
