The only problem I foresee is when you, (and you will), grab the hem of your kilt with whatever object you're lifting.
I have a knack for doing it while taking a double armload of clothes out of the dryer.

Blu...my daughter is doing well. We chat almost every night online. She plans on coming to Calgary for a 5 day visit at the end of July. I'm really looking forward to that. I'll get to meet her adopted mother when she's here, too. Her adopted father has pretty much been out of the picture for a number of years though. Too bad...his loss is my gain. The best part...she LOVES the kilt!
