I just mowed the lawn earlier this week in a kilt, and received lots of attention from cars passing by. (There's a fair amount of traffic in my part of the neighbourhood sometimes). Most of the attention consisted of horns honking; I didn't stop traffic or cause any accidents or anything. Every once in a while I hear the horn honking, and I think to myself, "I wonder what he's honking at." Then I force myself to reply "Oh, right, I'm wearing a kilt."

Well summer has hit Eastern Canada with a vengance,we had 25C yesterday, with a forcast of 28C for today and 30C for tomorrow. Damn, the kilt is comfortable.

I have not had one comment for my neighbours, as they have not seen me in anything but a kilt for the last month.

The humidex is quite high here. I got myself strapped into my Cheapkilts 8yard as soon as I got home from work today. Threw some burgers and bangers on the barbie, a cold Guinness in the other hand... aaahhhh, summers here at last...no doubt about it!

Oh stop it will you! I'm freezing here in near-winter weather. Time to discuss winter kilting, not summer kilting

Actually, while it's very cold, the sun is shining and I really love this weather. Cold weather can be embraced, with hot weather I just want to escape it.

Cold is great in a kilt!

    Gray,
You've got a lot of nerve complaining after posting those pics all (our) winter long of you at the beach, you in the hills, you in the summer.
    Payback time, baby!

    Graham,

We just had a cold spell, had to turn up the furnace a bit, suppose to be above normal in temperature for the rest of the week. I agree with Bear it is now time to get on with the warmth!

    Graham,

Is there room for two Graham's in Tasmania, let a lone Austrlia?

You are not only in another season, but also another day. A time warp.

    Alaskan,

I thought of that after I had made the post, but I didn't know if you wanted known that you were in the same warp zone. Someone may put green tights on you.
