    While as a veteran myself I respect all vets of all conflicts and even those who served during peacetime, I hold in special awe those who served in the two world wars. Most were draftees who left a farm, saved the world and then went home to the farm. Simply amazing.

    In reality most of those who served in the two so called world wars were enlistees and that includes this wonderful woman. The United States and other democratic nations continue to be free primarily because of enlistees. Such as todays all volunteer services.
