The "wise guy" (keeping it clean) in me wants to say "a kilt" and "from a kilt maker" but that would be impolite. So....

What is it - 6 yd box pleat, pleated to the sett; tartan - Cameron of Erracht (Modern) 13oz, Strathmore; two straps w/brass buckles (hopefully). This is my "modern interpretation" of the NY 79th Volunteers kilts (many threads, search for "79th").

Who - my "local" kiltmaker, Kiltmaker's Apprentice in Highland, NY. (http://www.highlandkiltshop.com/).

    And the wait continues...

BLHS209 - I hate to be the one to tell you this but owning/wearing a kilt turns you into a masochist. You are always Jonesing over something. Right now I am Jonesing over 3 orders: a vest from Highland Vests, 2 pairof hose and a new kilt pin from buyakilt and last but by no means least, a new semi-trad from Rocky.
Who, by the way is spending much too much time on here responding to messages when he should be spending all his waking hours perfecting my new kilt. I shall have to have a talk with that man about proper kiltmakers etiquette!
