    Finally go ahead for kilts

My wife said I could order the Still Water Kilts for our extended family's St. Patrick's Day party. So two kilts to buy, plus hose. Nobody will get a belt and my three sons can wear my sporrans until they can get their own.

As for me no more wearing the kilt. 1) can't lose the weight. 2) Both my legs swell and just can't wear socks, even ankle sock's. So hose and garters are diffidently out! Guess down the road I'll have a tartan vest made.

Got all three daughters a tartan scarf and clan badge for Christmas. So they are all set.

    Any advice?

It is not clear to me, and perhaps to others, on what topic(s) you are seeking advice.

With three sons and three daughters it can't possibly be on family development. Congratulations to you and the missus! I would love to see pictures of your family, ... and your extended family.

My mother's birthday was on St. Patrick's Day. It was extra special to her, because she was Polish. I can only assume the attachment to the holiday was through her Polish Catholicism.

Have a great St. Patrick's Day!
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Several folks here wear kilts with sandals, no socks involved.

Quoted for truth. I have photos, but you might be blinded by my pasty-white, European Extra Pale legs.
