Re: velvet or wool?
Per the moderators request, as well as referring to my own integrity and initiative, please read the below statement:
Sorry for the late response to the recently deleted posts of myself and of Dixiecat's, I have been very ill with a rather bad case of the stomach flu. I would like to take the opportunity to formally apologise to Dixiecat for sort of 'escalating' the somewhat 'heated' discussion between her and I. I never intended for it to get to that point, as most of you are quite aware, it is not in my character as an honest and forthright gentleman to act in such a manner and I am sorry for it - I never intended to cause any sort of negative disruption on the forum - never have, and never will.
I have not submitted a personal message of any kind to Dixiecat, rather, I would prefer for her, as well as for all, to see this message posted to the original thread. Again, I apologise, and I hope Dixiecat and I may continue to be tactful and cordial to oneanother throughout future thread discussions on the forum.
Thank you,

Thank you for your kind words sir. I had not intended that my post should rouse any negative disruptions and am sorry that such occurred.
I also thank the mods in keeping us all, and I include myself, running together smoothly. <3

Re: velvet or wool?
It gives your staff -- and I'm sure all of you, too -- great pleasure to read such as the last two posts in this thread and, more importantly, to glimpse between the lines and recognise the superbly high level of politeness that is the basis of XMarks membership. We can easily disagree with each other and by the nature of fora such as ours, just as easily fail to understand -- for the moment -- that there is a friend at the receiving end of our harsh words.
Kudos to both of you.
