Wear the bow-tie even if you don't wear anything else. It will pay dividends in the long run. Have a great time.

I am with you on this. I have a few bow ties I have only acquired since wearing the kilt for formal occassions. I don't dress formally often so I while it takes me awhile to tie it correctly I like the "class" it adds.

Thanks for every ones opinion but i did choose Option 4, although it was a last minute switch from the neck tie to bow tie. i was probably "over dressed" for just a meeting but i like to say "go big or go home" but there were some other gentlemen in jackets and kilts as well. i really like my new jacket but do need to get it too a tailor to get the arms shortened just a tad bit. i did get many compliments on my attire so i feel that i made a good choice
