Hands down you win for the coolest mustache! I just looked at your photo album -- nice handlebars!!
Phil - my mom would never let my dad grow facial hair, which is weird because her dad and her brothers all had beards.
One of my brother-in-laws sometimes has facial hair, sometimes not. Another one doesn't (I don't think he can grow any), and the last one sometimes has a walrus mustache going on.

I agree with Rufus, David, you look fine in a kilt, it made me think - whether young or mature (like you and I) a man looks better in a kilt!

A semi-formal kilt and jacket beats the most expensive business suit for class and appearance...Hands down without exception! Formal highland wear is in a class by itself and nothing else comes close! (Beard or no beard.)

Beard or not, I really think that to be kilted is the only way to go, and as I go about my daily life I try to encourage all those guys who are really interested to don the kilt. I have a beard, but even if I didn't I still would be kilted.

I've had facial hair off and on over the past 20-some years. When clean shaven I look about 10 years younger, but I prefer the goatee and 'stache look. I started growing the current one last July, and now that I'm back into motorcycles it just kinda "works". It certainly looks better with the kilt, too.

I think beards and kilts were made for each other.
I've often tried to grow a beard/moutache but always end up shaving it off. So, I suppose I have to count myself as one of the clean shaven brigade.
I also shave my head!! 8)

When I was a university student (many years ago now), I stopped shaving while I sat my final degree exams and ended up with the beginnings of a beard. After the exams, half of my fellow students said I should keep it, but the other half said it looked terrible and thought I should shave it off. So I did both, in that I shaved it off on one side of my face but not the other. I kept it like that for a week and learnt something very interesting, i.e. that people tend to look at you from one side or the other, so quite a few of them took quite a while to notice that I was unshaven on one side only. After a week, I shaved the lot off and have remained clean shaven ever since, so I classify as a beardless kilt wearing man.
