Re: Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado
I've had some of the most fun and some of my biggest frustrations in Boulder. Never worn a kilt while there, oddly enough. Definitely a town that the kilt would be considered pretty tame compared to some of what goes on and gets worn--or not worn...
October rolls around and the non-sanctioned Naked Pumpkin Run is staged. To enter, just take off your clothes, carve yourself a jack o' lantern, plop it over your head and run through the ped mall. To be fair, I think there are other cities that hold a similar run, but runners in Boulder now face sex offender charges for participating. Cuckoo.
Other bits of Boulder fun? Check out http://www.keepboulderweird.org/
Too bad it was so cold, Ron! You never can tell in Colorado; easily could have been in the 60's. Always love the Isle of Skye.
